This is my original gouache painting of Snowdonia, or Eryri, here in North Wales. Dark mountain ridges rise above a quiet stretch of water, with rocks and brown grasses in the foreground. There are softer colours too, pale light in the clouds, greens across the slopes and blue breaking through the sky.
I’m based in North Wales and create nature-inspired paintings through Ambertide Creative. This piece brings together the mountains, water and changing skies of the Welsh landscape.
